Parent Seminars 2026-2027

Parent seminars for Pre-K and Kindergarten families aim to strengthen home to school partnerships, boost school readiness, and enhance understanding of child development.  Key objectives include fostering positive behavior strategies, supporting social-emotional growth/emotional regulation, improving literacy/numeracy skills, and providing resources for families.

The first parent seminar was on Pre-K Creative Curriculum.  Creative Curriculum is a comprehensive, scientifically based program that has been shown to improve cognitive and social-emotional outcomes in young children. It addresses all areas of development including social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. The Creative Curriculum shows how to weave components of language and literacy into daily routines, interest areas, studies, and small and large group instructions.
