We had so much fun this year with the One Stateliner Story program at our Early Childhood building: Every Classroom. Every Student. Every Family. The purpose of this event was to build a community of readers through a shared reading experience. Every student in kindergarten received a book that was carefully chosen for its positive message in order to create a shared learning experience. The text was a rigorous read aloud, meaning that it was intended to be above most children’s reading level, with a storyline that can be comprehended through listening.
